The Deutsch-Japanisches Center is a mixed-use real estate complex in Düsseldorf, centred on the 5-star, 386-room Nikko Hotel, now the largest downtown hotel in the city. The property is located close to the banking district and the renowned shopping boulevard, the Königsallee.
Benson Elliot acquired a controlling interest in the Deutsch-Japanisches Center in 2007, in joint venture with hotel owner, operator and asset manager Event Holding. Since acquisition Benson Elliot has added 85 new executive rooms to the hotel, and created 650 sqm of additional banqueting space.
